GPCA was founded in 2015 as a product-development firm focused on General Purpose Carry Assembly — the name is both the acronym and the thesis. Every piece on the catalog is an answer to the same engineering question: how do you carry the thing you need (a gun, a pen, a dog leash, a box of camping gear, a grab handle) in a way that bolts cleanly into a vehicle or belongs on a belt.
The team previously designed for Mercedes, Audi, and Jeep. The dual HQ sits in the San Francisco Bay Area (design + prototyping) and Texas (operations + fulfillment). What does GPCA stand for?
General Purpose Carry Assembly. The 'GP' prefix on individual products (GP-Grip, GP-1945, GP BackGrip) comes from the same root. The tagline 'Adventure Never Ends' is the brand's product-design thesis: every piece is designed to carry the thing you need — grab handle, pen, wallet, cargo cover, tie-down anchor — in a way that integrates with a vehicle or an EDC kit.
Is the GP-Grip PRO compatible with my 2024 Jeep Wrangler?
No. The 2024+ Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT added side-curtain airbags that deploy from the roll bar. GP-Grip PRO (and LITE) are designed for 2007–2023 Wranglers. For 2024+ you need the GP-Grip AIR, which is brand-stated as patented for airbag compatibility on the new generation. Using the pre-2024 handles on a 2024+ Jeep is not recommended — it could interfere with airbag deployment.
Are these Made in USA?
