Grooming for Mission Conditions
Deodorant, body wash, wipes, cleansing bar, dry shampoo, hair paste and fragrance — engineered and field-tested since 2019 with the US Army's 75th Ranger Regiment, 2nd Battalion. Aluminum-free, baking-soda-free, sulfate-free. Built for sweat, deployment, and the most demanding conditions on the planet. Free US shipping to all 50 states.
Cut through the BS.
Bravo Sierra began in 2019 with a single mission: personal care that actually survives the conditions active people live in. The brand name is a direct nod — 'Bravo Sierra' is military phonetic for BS, and the whole premise is cutting through it. No mystery marketing, no aluminum, no baking soda, no fillers that quit in the field.
Every formula is designed and then field-tested with the 75th Ranger Regiment, 2nd Battalion — the toughest, hardest-working users on the planet — in some of the most demanding conditions possible. Their feedback shapes every iteration until the formula consistently delivers: in heat, in humidity, in 72-hour deployments, in back-to-back showers.
It is our relentless quest for efficacy, function, and quality — at the right price. No compromise. — From the Bravo Sierra field manual
Field Manual
Field-tested with the 75th Rangers
Every product goes through the same rigorous grueling protocol. Designed at HQ, deployed to the 2nd Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment, iterated until the formula holds up in real deployment conditions.
Aluminum-free, baking soda-free
The deodorant delivers all-day odor + sweat protection using prebiotics + Saccharomyces ferment instead of aluminum or baking soda. No white marks on uniforms or dress shirts, no rebound BO, no skin irritation.
Made in USA, small batch
Deodorants crafted in Vermont and California. Cleansing bar pH-balanced for sensitive skin. Hair paste with professional-grade polymers. Every SKU has a traceable US manufacturing origin.
Service member discount
Bravo Sierra gives back a portion of sales to military families + veterans, and offers active duty / veterans / military family members a permanent 15% discount through GovX. This isn't marketing. It's the founding charter.
Issued / Denied
Issued to Deploy
- Prebiotics + Saccharomyces fermentThe deodorant's primary odor-control actives. Rebalance skin microbiome instead of nuking it — gentler on underarm skin, no rebound BO when you stop using it.
- Coconut-derived cleansersBody wash + cleansing bar use gentle sugar-based surfactants from coconut. Lather enough for real cleaning, gentle enough for back-to-back showers.
- Professional-grade polymersHair paste formulation uses the same polymers salon-pro stylists reach for. Lock + smooth + hydrate in one pass.
- Multi-source humectantsCleansing bar and body wash pull moisture into the skin barrier rather than stripping it out. Matters after 72 hours in the field.
- Prebiotic + postbiotic activesAcross multiple SKUs. Supports the skin microbiome you actually want to keep — not the one that causes odor.
Denied Classification
- Aluminum compoundsThe ingredient every conventional deodorant uses to block sweat glands. Not in any Bravo Sierra deodorant.
- Baking sodaThe 'natural' alternative that irritates and blisters sensitive underarm skin. Also not used.
- SLS / SLES sulfatesHarsh surfactants that over-strip skin. Zero sulfates in the body wash or cleansing bar.
- Synthetic fragrance (parfum)The Unscented deodorant is truly fragrance-free. Scented SKUs use disclosed fragrance blends, not legally-hidden 'parfum.'
- Parabens, phthalates, PEGsStandard clean-beauty exclusion list. Not in Bravo Sierra formulations.
Built in New York. Field-tested in the 2nd Battalion.
Bravo Sierra HQs in New York City. Formulation happens stateside in Vermont and California. Field testing happens 5,000+ miles away with active-duty Rangers in deployment conditions. The feedback loop between civilian formulator and boots-on-ground operator is what the brand exists for.
A portion of every sale goes back to the military family + veteran community. Active duty, veterans, and military family members get a permanent 15% off through GovX — not a promotional code, a baseline policy.

What does 'Bravo Sierra' actually mean?
Bravo Sierra is the military phonetic alphabet for the letters B and S — i.e., 'BS.' The whole brand is a play on cutting through the BS in personal care marketing. No mystery actives, no exaggerated claims, formulas that work in actual field conditions.
Is the field-testing with the 75th Rangers real or just marketing?
Real. The 2nd Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment has been the brand's primary product-testing unit since 2019. Active-duty operators test prototypes in deployment conditions, their feedback drives formula iteration. Bravo Sierra also commits a portion of every sale to military family + veteran support, and offers active duty / veterans / family members a permanent 15% GovX discount. Not marketing — operating charter.
How does the aluminum-free deodorant actually work without aluminum or baking soda?
Most aluminum-free deodorants fail because they rely on baking soda (irritates) or essential oils alone (weak). Bravo Sierra's mechanism is prebiotics + Saccharomyces ferment — working WITH your skin microbiome to outcompete the bacteria that cause odor. Works differently than an antiperspirant (you will still sweat) but the odor prevention is real and doesn't cause rebound BO when you stop using it.
Which scent should I start with — Unscented, Citron & Sea Salt, or one of the body fragrances?
If you've never done aluminum-free: start with Unscented deodorant. It's the proof-of-concept and lets you sense the formula without fragrance noise. If you like light + fresh: Citron & Sea Salt deodorant (light citrus-saline). The three body fragrances (Marine Salt, Suede Musk, Smoked Orris) are separate from the deodorants — they're aromatic layering pieces, think dress-code cologne for casual daily wear.
How does Bravo Sierra compare to Native and Dr. Squatch?
Native is the biggest natural-deodorant brand and is solid but not military-adjacent. Dr. Squatch leans into manly-marketing but uses baking soda in many SKUs (an irritation issue for sensitive skin). Bravo Sierra is the one with actual field-testing by active-duty military, prebiotic mechanism (no baking soda), and a veteran-support charter. Native for mainstream retail price; Bravo Sierra for the full 'does it hold up at hour 72' test.
Are the Antibacterial Body Wipes actually clinical-grade?
They're designed for head-to-toe cleaning when a shower isn't an option — athletes between training sessions, service members on deployment, high-performance individuals on a plane. Each 10-pack is individually wrapped. Not a hospital-antiseptic-grade product (those require prescription), but they effectively eliminate sweat, dirt, and odor-causing bacteria in practical field use.
Do you ship to all 50 states and handle returns?
Yes — free shipping on every Bravo Sierra order at Curated Sense to all 50 US states including AK and HI. Standard 30-day return window on unused items in original packaging. Opened products can still be returned under the quality-only policy. Real humans on email if anything goes sideways.
