Amour d'Agnette exists because Agnes and Deean — two young women in Boston — could not find a bra that actually fit. What began as a shared frustration became a mission after Agnes discovered breast lumps. Lingerie, they decided, should evolve with the body, not against it. Their first product was a pocketed Leavers lace bra designed for any body, for any stage.
Born in 2020 (then as Amour Caché), the brand rebranded in 2025 into its current form — the wilder, wiser sister of the label you may have already fallen in love with. Same fit process. Agnes and Deean met at Boston University, united by the same complaint every woman has — the bra that was supposed to fit, didn't. When Agnes discovered breast lumps, the mission crystallized: create lingerie that evolves with the body, honors the body, includes the body.
They trained at FIT New York, mastered intimate design, launched their first piece — a pocketed Leavers lace bra for all women, a statement of inclusion and empowerment. Today, production happens at a BSCI-certified factory in Malaysia that Agnes and Deean visit regularly. Raw materials are sourced individually, personally, always OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Each piece goes through up to 15 fit samples before it ships.

What is 'jelly fabric' and why is it the signature?
Jelly fabric is Amour d'Agnette's proprietary material — a heat-moldable, uniquely opaque knit developed specifically for the brand. It reads as second skin and eliminates the usual bra-fabric tells: no visible seams, no bulge, no shadow under a white tee or thin blouse. The Kim line in jelly fabric (including the bustier which is genuinely wearable as outerwear) is the brand's most distinctive category.
What does 'Ag' stamped on the hardware mean?
Ag is the periodic-table symbol for silver (from the Latin argentum). Every strap adjuster, hook, and slide on an Amour d'Agnette piece is silver chrome stamped with Ag. It's a deliberate poetic signature — silver is the metal traditionally associated with strength, resilience, and timelessness. It's also how the 'Agnette' half of the name works: Agnes + Ag + the diminutive -ette.
How does sizing work? Is it true-to-size?
Amour d'Agnette runs generally true-to-size on US bra sizing. Because each style goes through up to 15 fit rounds, sizing is unusually consistent — especially on the Kim underwire pieces. Two notes: (1) the jelly-fabric styles fit slightly snug on first wear and relax by wear 3–4; (2) the Julie Molded T-Shirt bra runs 360° stretch and can accommodate half-sizes either direction. How does Amour d'Agnette compare to Cou Cou, Kilo Brava, and Le Petit Trou?
Cou Cou is cotton-comfort-first — if you want mostly organic cotton basics, that's the closest. Kilo Brava is sleepwear-adjacent with a softer-structure feel.
