Most skincare is built around the face. PRAI Beauty was not. Founded by Cathy Kangas in the late 1990s in New Canaan, Connecticut, the brand took a category almost no one was serving — the throat, décolletage, and jawline — and made it the center of the dossier. The neck has fewer sebaceous glands, thinner skin, and is exposed to UV from a different angle than the face. The brand's namesake is the prai root (Zingiber cassumunar), a rhizome in the ginger family traditionally harvested in Thailand. Can I use the Ageless Night Creme with Retinol and the Necks-Generation glycolic cleanser on the same day?
The glycolic cleanser is brief-contact (rinse off). Retinol on the neck at night is fine following a glycolic cleanse in the AM. What you should avoid: a leave-on glycolic + retinol on the same evening, which raises irritation risk. If in doubt, alternate nights.
