Why Cork?
Cork is a natural cellular material harvested from the bark of cork oak trees without cutting them down — the bark regenerates, making cork one of the most sustainable materials in footwear. Its cellular structure (honeycomb air pockets) creates both compression resistance and gradual conform-ability: cork compresses under load but recovers, and over weeks of wear, the cells in contact with your arch permanently reshape around your unique foot anatomy.
